National Taekwondo Athlete Buğra Coşgungönül Wins Gold Medal at EYOF 2025
National taekwondo athlete Buğra Coşgungönül won the gold medal at the 18th European Youth Olympic Summer Festival (EYOF 2025) currently taking place in North Macedonia.
According to the statement from the Turkish National Olympic Committee (TNOC), Buğra Coşgungönül, representing the star and crescent, climbed to the top of the podium with a gold medal in the men’s 73 kg category at the event in the capital city of Skopje.
Elif Naz Köseoğlu also won a bronze medal in the girls’ +63 kg category.
Turkey’s total medal count in the games has reached 29, with 8 gold and 21 other medals.
